Winter Good

Mild and bug-free. The forest often floods, which is a beautiful sight from the boardwalk.

Spring Prime

Excellent for paddling. Synchronous fireflies light up the forest from mid-May to early June.

Summer Poor

Hot, humid and buggy. The park's 'mosquito meter' is often on the highest setting.

Fall Good

Comfortable again by October. November brings fall color and the best weather.
