Short version: your trips stay on your device.

What we store

Trips, packing checklists and your theme choice are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They're never sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so use Download backup in the planner if you want a copy.

Share links

When you create a share link, the trip is encoded in the part of the link after the # sign. Browsers don't send that part to our server; only the people you give the link to can see it.

Email alerts

If you sign up for email alerts, we keep your email address, and your name if you give it, only to send the alerts. We never sell or share them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Analytics

We don't currently run analytics.

Ads and affiliate links

We don't currently show ads. Some lodging and activity links may be affiliate links, which pay us a small commission at no cost to you.

Tips

Tips are processed by our payment provider. We never see your card details.
