Voyageurs by season

Winter Good

Ice roads open across Rainy Lake and Kabetogama Lake (conditions permitting). Snowmobiling, snowshoeing and the northern lights.

Spring Fair

Ice-out is usually in late April or May. The park is in transition and hard to access.

Summer Prime

The main season, for houseboating, paddling and island camping. Bugs can be thick early in the season.

Fall Good

September is quiet, with fall color and calm water. Late fall is the off-season.
