Winter Fair

Snowshoeing and backcountry skiing at Bear Lake. Trail Ridge Road is closed, but elk and moose are easy to spot.

Spring Fair

Trail Ridge Road usually opens around Memorial Day. Lower trails clear, but high trails stay snowy until June.

Aspens peak in late September and the elk rut draws crowds to the meadows at dusk.
