Grand Teton by season

Winter Fair

The Teton Park Road closes to cars and becomes a ski and snowshoe route. Moose and elk winter in the valley.

Spring Fair

Bears emerge with cubs in May and June, and wildlife watching is outstanding. Some trails stay snowy until July.

Summer Good

All trails, lakes and boat shuttles are open. It's beautiful but busy.

Fall Good

Aspens turn gold in late September, the elk bugle and crowds thin. This is a photographer's season.
