Acadia by season

Winter Fair

Most of the Park Loop Road closes, and the carriage roads become cross-country ski trails.

Spring Fair

Late arrival. Roads reopen in April, and May is quiet and fresh.

Summer Good

Busy and beautiful. Lobster rolls, tide pools and cool ocean breezes.

Fall Good

The best season. Fall color peaks in early-to-mid October, but expect crowds, including from cruise ships.
